Authentic G-1 ?

Is this jacket an authentic G-1? I have never run across a vintage pre-Vietnam era G-1 sporting such a label.

Some of these are nice and some are really bad civvy jackets. The one I had was horrible...in fact I sent it back to the seller for a full refund. J. Chapman had a really nice one at one time though so it is hard to tell unless you have it in your hands.
