Mash makes nice ones. Consider having someone paint one on instead as the decals wear off and after a certain point, even this worn look isn't so great. On the flip side, if you end up not liking the decal you can remove it by crinkling up the leather and it will flake off.
There was an order sometime in early 1944, I don't recall the exact date, that stipulated all flight clothing be marked with an AAF stencil. The reason for this is so that the Germans could not claim that downed crews were in civilian clothing and shoot them as spies. Any jackets produced before this date, which is nearly all A-2's only had the stencil applied if they had a depot refurb, so a large proportion of jackets ended the war without stencils, and despite what ELC and Buzz Rickson would have us believe, only about half of the B-10's produced had stencils.
