Any idea about these Nomex trs please?

Material is similar to my US Vietnam issue Nomex shirt and trs.

No labels/stamps etc and all the zips are unmarked.

I knew there is one new kind of Goretex/Nomex flight suit.
I am not sure this is it?

no Goretex used in Vietnam War.

Just saw this question.

They are a British RAF nomex flight suit that has been cut down to trousers and had a drawstring inserted .

There's plenty of the unmodified versions on Ebay.

No idea whatsoever. I don't think the RAF allow personal preferences for flying kit. Maybe a helo pilot ?? I've never seen this mod before and can only assume it's a one-off done for personal use.
