Interesting observation, but the sleeve cuffs look like the knits I saw on a Hollywood A-2 I once bought and returned (seller claimed it was original issue, but when I received it I saw it was not -- even had the costumer tag still in it).

That is a 1940's zipper on there. Those cuffs are replaced.

Sure looks like an original AN-J-3 to me. Maybe made by Monarch? @Maverickson would know.
