Alien 1979 leather A2 jacket “Parker”

If you remember the 1979 movie in a couple scenes the character “Parker” played by Yaphet Kotto
Wears a leather A2, from Bermans & Nathan’s a costumer. I believe the jacket was auctioned for $10,000 ???
It had patches for the Nostromo and the back was stenciled with Nostromo in yellow/gold
I found these picks but none with the stencil but it probably was similar to the pic I found below
I’m thinking if I patch my A2 I may go this route as I’m more a sci-fi nerd then a history buff

Over the years Bermans & Nathans have played a vast role in supplying costumes for huge numbers of theatre and film productions.

Awesome!

Was always considering to get some "Alien" garment - maybe that would be a good start into getting some ...

didn't even realize he is wearing an A2 whilst watching the movie a couple of times

Magnoli Clothiers also sells both of the patches you'd need for that jacket:

I just saw the movie on a big screen tonight and though I'm a huge fan, had never noticed Parker was wearing a leather jacket until tonight, then I looked it up and got here.
I could somewhat easily paint the Nostromo name across the back of one...

Those are pictures I took years ago at Mr. Bob Burns house. The Spec. tag was removed so no clue. But for sure a commercial jacket.
I pretty sure I have more pics of the jackets along with the RAF 1950's Mark 3 cold weather gray/blue one too.
