Aero Medical N-2 type jacket

Hi all,
Thought I'd post this one as its on ebay at the moment going for big money, an interesting jacket, N-2 type test jacket with a removable hood, pity hood has gone walk about. Any verdict on this one?

Just wondered if the Personal Equipment Laboratory was an earlier incarnation of the Aero Medical Laboratory?

I much prefer the N2 without a hood. There was a "modified" N2B on ebay. The hood was gone and it looked good. I did the same with a N3B and wear it the most.
The hoodless N2 would be a better coat IMO than the MA1, almost identical I know but the large wind flap, and I think a longer body, maybe not but seems that way to me.

Holy shit. The jacket sold for nearly $2500 ! It looks great. I guess they decided against the removable hood after the tests.

Yes Peter a fantastic price for a piece of rare nylon, John it looks like 336 FIS CO Lt Col. Bruce Hinton disliked his hood to and removed it from his N-2.

I really think the hoods on those jackets have too much acreage entirely. Still have one for good measure though.
