The zipper looks like John's. I had one of these with a Conmar in excellent condition, but the brass zipper definitely tarnished way more than this one did. Also, the leather looks like the Aero I just got from John as well. It doesn't feel like an original to me.

There was green patina in the collar snaps, those are clearly not GW cuffs, wear on the collar and patina on the sleeves. Original but John's are N.O.S. so the thought is sound.

The Perry is 100% original. This jacket has wear expected from a wartime original. Just look a the lining around the collar. The knits are not the same as JC uses. The hh is quite clearly 69 years old and is not the same as he uses!
