A-2 Waist Fit

Hi, i wanted to know how much does the elasticity of the waist knit play in the snuggness of the waist? There does not seem to be much of a tapper in towards the bottom of my jacket anymore and seams a little loose around the waist.I know the knit has shrunk up some as far as width and no longer has any stretch left ( from previous HWT) When I replace the knit will it help with the bottom of the jacket fitting snugger around the waist?

Sure.
New knits will make a world of difference. I must say..those knits are about the saddest looking knits I've ever seen..without being in a frayed more worn condition...except for some older ELC jackets that I've tried on over the years.

Knits make the waist. Unless you get a jacket cut in a "V", it needs to have some pull, and those look like the Queen's neck. I think replacement will be just the thing...good luck.

Took a look at the pic and then read your post. I scrolled back up and you hit the mark. I have not seen something that relaxed since an intro to German porn years ago... The horror...the horror...

The new GW knits will do the jacket wonders...

Dropped the jacket off to get the knits done. I pick it up Thursday. It should be like getting a new jacket. :)
