Okay VLJ jacket experts, is this what they say it is ? Was this a WW2 A-2 that was used as costume inventory for a movie studio, or what ? No size or measurements was given.

Not an expert, but it's not an issued jacket, and it's not WW2 vintage.

But then the seller contradicts himself anyway ...

This is an original US military issue a2 jacket with the 532nd bomb group patch. Has a film studio stamped in the collar. Maybe private contract.

It looks like an older Avirex repro to me.

Yup. Has the stitch marks for a big squarish label, probably that HIGH SPEED LOW LEVEL FLIGHT nonsense.
