I had done one of these a while back, but was unsatisfied. This is in the Art Of The Leather Flight Jackets book, and was painted on an M-41. This turned out ok, I like the fact that its more like a painting, than a slick cartoon character, and a little harder to transfer to leather and get that look.

Looks great. With a line of stitching around it, it will look nice and framed in.

Is that tan leather color painted or all natural? Looks great Chitchat.

It's natural, with a leather stain from Tandy leather called Eco-flo. I use it on 99 percent of my patches to give a little patina.
