What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Good question. I'm pretty sure the Concho was developed off of the SFAD B-3, but I don't know off-hand if there were any other changes besides adding the adornments and aging the jacket a bit.

That's kinda misleading to say artificially white. The hides
Nope, they switched to a more artificially-white color about a year ago:

That's a bit of a mis-leading statement. When new, they are lighter, but the non-pigmented double face sheepskins turn a darker shade with wear and oxidation.

Thanks for providing more information about how the finish develops. I still don’t care for the out-of-the-box finish, and I don’t think I’m doing Gary any injustice by saying so.

I had the ELMC Concho version. Apart from the concho itself, it is identical to the "regular" SFAD, including the 1938 stamp on the back of the collar. The pocket will have two vertical slits that the concho is attached to.
I removed mine (I was after an SFAD originally) and the 2 slits didn't bother me but were noticeable.

So….. how many times do you get told you look like Nick Nolte ?
I've been asked for selfies so many times that I can't count.
Also Gary Busey's son, Jake.
I had 20 Mexican guys at a Dodger game gather around me for a group pic.
I had a guy at the Art Director's Guild awards tell me he loved my speech whilst I was peeing...it was Jake Busey who gave a speech...

So, quite often :p

We got treated to a blizzard this morning. Good thing my jacket collection was prepared for such an eventuality. GW B-3:
