Eh, not my thing as much. I'm more into the militaria side, so the bits they added on to turn it into a motorcycle jacket aren't for me.

I had the ELMC Concho version. Apart from the concho itself, it is identical to the "regular" SFAD, including the 1938 stamp on the back of the collar. The pocket will have two vertical slits that the concho is attached to.
I removed mine (I was after an SFAD originally) and the 2 slits didn't bother me but were noticeable.

I had 20 Mexican guys at a Dodger game gather around me for a group pic.
I had a guy at the Art Director's Guild awards tell me he loved my speech whilst I was peeing...it was Jake Busey who gave a speech...

That's a lot of history in those jackets there. Thanks for posting @YoungMedic. The second one belonged to Wally Schirra a Mercury, Gemini and Apollo veteran, including commanding the first flight of Apollo, Apollo 7. Awesome.
