What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

we went on a long doggo walk along the Danube in the early afternoon and as it was sunny and looked warm I opted for a BR Jungle Combat Shirt; luckily I had the original A-2 Deck Jacket still in the car from yesterday's excursion as it was rather breezy and a bit chilly near the water...
our two Hovis were more than happy though; they love this kind of weather and the swimming season is opened hereby...
(photo of one happy doggo inserted in lieu of a boring looking dude in a green military jacket... :D)

I got a Buzz Rickson MA-1 (Albert Turner) in XXXL. I'll post some pics. Could I buy an Alpha MA-1 for $100? Yeah, I could, but this one is to build a jacket honoring my Pop in the 23rd Bombardment Squadron, stationed in Bicester, England in the mid 50's. So, no cheapo jacket for that mission. It is the first quality non-leather jacket I've bought, and I have to say, I'm impressed. Pics will come soon.
These are the patches. One of them will go on the right chest.
Hey all, before I get the patch sewn in, I want to ask a dumb question...
I should have the patch sewn in through all layers of the jacket (chest), correct?
I've had patches sewn on a long time ago and the guy was really proud that he only sewed through the leather, and not the liner. I think correct is through the entire jacket, correct? o_O

Yep, every time I’ve seen it. Not sure the other way is “wrong” per se, just much harder to pull off, so most people applying a patch won’t bother.
