Irvin today for me with only a thin shirt underneath...
whoever says an Irvin can't be worn in temperatures around 5 - 10 plus C should try it with only a thin long sleeve or even TShirt only underneath...
open up the zips on the sleeves and leave the jacket open a bit for additional circulation of air.
it's really comfortable to wear the Irvin that way :)

oh you ve got sharp eyes!
it is a traditional farmer/ peasant knife of the AUBRAC a LAGUIOLE with a blade tapered a handle in cow horn and a corkscrew. We recognized these knives thanks to the bee on the bolster and the cross of the shepherd on the handle. The story says that the shepherd planted the knife in the ground at the time of the angelus and said a prayer... The homemade by myself leather case was hand stitched with linen thread.

It’s a good knife for daily use!
Narrow blade is handy.
I found this knife in a drawer of a piece of furniture I bought in a second-hand store, it was stored there and forgotten I think it was waiting for me. Since then I’ve been hanging out with me almost all the time. very convenient to open the packages and for the snack in the workshop especially with its corkscrew when we are thanked with a good bottle of wine.

BR MIL-J-7758A underneath my ELC G&F M-422a today.
inspired by finding a book I was looking for for a long time now yesterday, I thought it's Navy jackets day today for me again...

if anyone wants to know which book - "Vulture's Row" by Paul Gillcrist... ;)

Received this beauty from JC a few days ago. Bronco 29191 with the new Italian russet horsehide, pale tan cotton lining, new mid-brown knits, olive cotton thread, and all vintage United-Carr black ring snaps. Also, a 1941 NOS Crown zipper to top it off. What a pure pleasure to wear. Couldn't be happier! Perfect, as always!
