AVI Leather shipping issues?

Hey,
I just wonder what your experiences are when it comes to AVI's shipping procedures.
I have repeatedly had the problem that I've received a email from them saying the article is shipped together with a tracking number but then nothing happens and the shipment lays around somewhere for a couple of days, obviously not handed over to the shipping company properly.
That's a little frustrating because of the "shipped out" email the excitement rises understandably.
Am I the only one with that issues or is this just standard with AVI?

Not with AVI, but in other instances when I've bought something online, there's been a lag before I get any shipping updates. I suspect what's going on is that the tracking number has been created by purchasing shipping online, but the courier/postal service has not actually received the item yet.

This happens to me all the time, too.

Then you get the next notice and the box shows up the same day. >shrug< emoji here.

This is for Denmark to Central Europe:
- The ANJ-3 I ordered took almost 2 weeks to process and arrived in 4 days once I received the tracking number.
- The M422a I ordered took 1 day to process and arrived 3 days once I received the tracking number.
For ANJ-3 I didn't find that to be an issue and Morten told me after I placed the order that it'd take up to 2 weeks.

In my case it was a wrong tracking number. After sorting this out with Morten everything went smooth.
