first outing for my new BR NASA Mercury jacket...
have to admit that for being a chance buy from Fardin and NASA normally not being my cuppa, this is a damn nice sharp looking jacket which will see the sun often now that it is getting warmer again...

They’re going to have to update the ground hog theory. Supposedly the worse case scenario is 6 more weeks of winter. I’d be tickled pink with that. Last 3 years we’ve had snow in may.
Our local woodchuck predicted an early spring, but didn't really give us a calendar. ;)

Any snow that falls after Mid-March around here doesn't stick around long. I just don't want the heavy wet stuff that caused about 10 power surges in 5 hours... and zapped the control board in my furnace.

Yeah, I'm not bothered by the odd freak blizzard in spring. Late January and February are the real menace.

The seasons don’t seem to “ease”in lately. 3 years ago I was trenching my property for cable in early may. Cold enough that I needed insulated coveralls and snowing like a bastard. 3 days later I was shirtless, shorts and getting my first sunburn of the year ;)

Well the pipe is a Dagner Poker, and the tobacco I was smoking was a Peterson Navy Rolls. I have also enjoyed 965 mixture, GL Pease quiet nights and my favorite of all time that I can't get anymore was Nat Sherman's 314 blend. I am about to order a tin of Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader
