I hope you guys dont think this is my first venture into an A2, my first A2 I ever bought was a Goodwear '39 Werber. I was just curious what your thoughts were on this coat, merely as discussion, and was curious to maybe drop the buck fifty and get one to see just how it looked and compared...
Has anyone seen the A2 What Price Glory is now offering on their website? It is made out of a goatskin, he describes it as a more fitted jacket. He doesnt have much picture wise, it looks okay, the price is definitely doable, and I am thinking of ordering one just to see how it is. What are your...
I decided to do an authentic as possible A2 with artwork. As much as I like the professionally done artwork done on a lot of high end A2s today, I just have a heart for the amateur artwork of the WWII era so I decided to do the artwork myself, I don't think it turned out too bad.
My canvas was...
Either way, legit or repro, with the quality of the bullion work on it it is quite the stunning patch. One of the more beautiful bullion patches I've seen and even better that its ATC (love ATC patches)
Repro or not, if it doesnt sell for more than 50 dollars then it went for well under its...
I picked up one of their ETO jackets recently and it is very nice.
That being said it did come with a 1st Infantry Division patch...if that patch is anything like the rest of their insignia they offer then stay away from their insignia.
But overall their cloth stuff is pretty good.
Honestly as nice of a storage system idea as it is, I couldnt see myself paying to have it shipped over when I can go to Goodwill or a Yardsale find a cedar dresser for 30 bucks clean it out and store my jackets in there.
A beautiful jacket blemished by a decal, still a gorgeous jacket.
Andrew, I dont know if you had mentioned it and I had missed it but where did you come across this jacket?
The one thing that makes the squadron patch scream fake to me isnt the fact of the quality I've seen documented originals way worse than that patch, what stands out to me is the size, look at how small that patch is, they compared it to a quarter, it looks more the size of a shoulder patch than...
LoL well then can you throw out suggestions that doesnt give away the secret but still sends me in the right direction?
ALSO administrators I accidently posted this in the jacket art/ patches I meant to put this in the "How To" section, if you could move it thatd be most helpful.
I don't think this is from the popular mall store American Eagle, as the tags for that American Eagle product are pretty much the same across the board. I'm thinking this was done by American Eagle Leathers. A company I can't find much about on the Internet.
