I know the MA-1 is for colder weather, and is not what I’m looking for :)
I have never seen a real L-2 jacket but looking at pictures, the original do look a bit thicker than this “Jinruishi”
Or maybe I’m just imagining things :)
Great! Seems like XL is the way to go for me. How would you compare it to “the real deal” considering... thickness, I guess? I understand it’s supposed to be lighter than say a ma-1. But looking around it feels like they skipped a layer of lining or padding on this, compared to an original...
I'm really tempted to order one of these in green. @B-Man2 and @London Cabbie would you still recommend?
Also im 190cm (6'2) and slim build. not sure if I should go for the XL or XXL.
Hi, I bought this "extreme cold weather impermeable, jacket" a while back and just received it.
it has some white paint stains that I plan on trying to remove. But while I'm in the process of giving it a little touch up, I was thinking about fixing the wrinkles and also hear what you guys think...
Yes, the bi-swing back made me kinda sure. I believe I read somewhere that that CWU 36/p was first introduced on the tag in 1977 and that’s what made me doubt it was genuine at first. But if they do turn up in as new condition as you say. Maybe I just didn’t google hard enough.
Hi!
i bought this CWU 36/p jacket a while back, feel in love right away but somehow I’ve only worn it a handful of times. Decided it’s time to let it go but I would love to get some help from you guys.
am I correct to assume it’s from 1977?
I’ve tried to find pictures of other CWU 36/p jacket...
