Congratulations. That jacket is absolutely gorgeous. Wear it often and enjoy. JC is a craftsman and I look forward to the day when it comes time for my jacket to be made.
They always say to go with your first choice. I thought seal would be a good color pick since my other A-2 is a russet brown color. Then the temptations started LOL. Thanks guys for the feedback on John's RW jackets. I will stay with the RW 27752 in seal. It's not like I'm going to be wearing it...
Like many of you, I am also on the list for a GW A-2 jacket. I took the plunge in February and contacted John to place the order. My choice was a RW 27752 in seal but other contracts are beginning to sway my decision. RW 1401-P, 1939 Werber, Dubow 20960 or a Doniger in goatskin. I told myself to...
Jorge, Thanks very much for sharing your photos. Congratulations on finding a beautiful A-2. Wow, size 36.The greatest generation seems to be much smaller in body size. .
I love your watch..do you know if you can still find them?
EDIT: I just found two of them on Ebay...........$475.00 and $495.00 NOS............They sure ain't cheap o_O

Thanks. There was a member on here (it might be Brettafett) who said the A-2 jackets feel like wearing a shirt when they break in. I didn’t understand at the time what he meant but now I do. The leather goes from being stiff to draping
Wearing my one and only A-2. ELC Monarch 23378. It is only two months old but breaking in nicely. I recently placed a deposit with John Chapman for one of his RW 27752 A-2 jackets so the addiction continues and the wait begins.
I took these photos in 1991 after the first Gulf War. This MIG-29 appeared at the air show at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. It was a rare appearance in the US and my main reason for attending the show.
Cyril, from one new guy to another, Welcome ! Your collection of Navy jackets is amazing. Thanks for sharing your images. You have definitely come to the right place. Great bunch of people here.
Very nice image I saw this one last month in Seattle Washington. The Constellation had style and is very elegant. What’s that saying “They don’t make them like that anymore “
