Just re-watched MASH the movie and noticed a lot of charicters men and women wearing bucket style hats with a rounded crown. Where these US standard issue back then? Some Hollywood thing? What were they called and are there reproductions to be had?

Looking at picking up a new MA-1 or a B-15. Looking at Alpha Industries models. Anyone have any input/opinions. Any real difference from the Knox to the Alpha? Any on-line venders anyone would recommend. Any information would he helpful. Thanks.
