Someone posted an original M422 photo which had two elastic bands. Did the original made in USA G1s have two bands or just one? Vintage M422 with two elastic bands below...

Thanks - I can see the difference. So by "cheap repro" do you mean the AVI Talon zippers are unauthorized Asian knock-offs (not genuine licensed Talon product)? Are there any objective differences in quality in these repros?

That makes sense. I guess it would be up to the owner of AVI to disclose/verify if they are sourcing authentic Talons.

So even if they are produced in Asia, should we assume they are official Talon product and made to Talon standards and original patents? The Talons used are not counterfeit, correct?

Are the Talon zippers that AVI uses genuine new old stock or modern authentic? Or are they modern Asian (non-licensed) copies of vintage Talon zippers?
