Closing the loop on this thread, I received my new CAGLECO a few weeks ago from Dave. It is a beautiful "1950s in a box" jacket. I've had G-1 jackets of every stripe, from genuine M-422s, 55J14s to early model 7823As/Bs. No way to tell Dave's jacket is a repro except for it's in mint condition...

I have seen some amazing patch reproductions displayed in this forum. But I haven't seen anyone able to reproduce 1950s-vintage bullion thread-type patches. Does anyone know of an artist who can do credible repros of these types of patches? thanks.
Dave - I am interested in underwriting a CAGLECO repro, if that is a project you'd be willing to consider. What can you tell me about the design features that are unique to that jacket - cut, construction, etc?
Has any quality manufacturer of reproductions attempted a CAGLECO G-1 - or considering doing so? Goodwear or Dave Sheeley, perhaps? Dark seal CAGLECOs are pretty iconic.
