I'm a new member and AAF collector, among other WW2 collectibles. I'm a big fan of the A2 but don't have an original; I hope to correct that someday.
My fathers B-3 Jacket is an original that he wore in the AAF state side. I don’t see a manufacturer name on the label. My question is we’re there B-3,s that did not show the manufacturer who made it?

You might have more luck if you posted this question in one of the forums, instead of as a profile post, but the short answer is yes, there were a fair number of B-3 contracts that didn't list the maker on the label. What's the contract number? The jacket's manufacturer may be known, even without the name being on the label.

I was reading different threads from other members about the AAF shoulder meatball should one apply one on an original A-2 or B-3? If you decide to add one make sure it’s imbedded enough to show the natural grain through the decal. This is how the original decals looked when issued.
