Still too warm for jackets here but 50’s are projected this weekend! I just couldn’t wait to show off this jacket that Burt rejuvenated this past week. Can’t decide what to do with it now, what a transformation. View attachment 122983
Does it have a label? It looks like a Star or an FEC, If it has a small 55j14 label it's probab;ly an early Star. Looks good rejuvenated!

Yes there was some discussion on this a while back , JC seems to think it was a pre issue star but the zipper pull would date it later than the 55J14 issue date and maybe was thought to be an over run.

Edit* here is the link for the jacket spa

have recently moved out of London down into darkest Kent and being without inet for a couple of weeks I'm just catching up with all the posts I've missed and as all my jackets are still somewhere in all the boxes haven't a photo to share today, but here's an old one on the original Sheeplined, which was identified by some of the knowledgeable guys here as the label was missing when I bought it over 40 years ago. Having a very large shed here I will be able to get reunited with my bikes that have been languishing in my daughter's garage for years as I did not have garaging in London

That was some bang up restoration & revival work Burt did on that jacket, @YoungMedic. It's an unadulterated beauty and it looks great on you. G-1s are such beautiful and practical jackets.
