finally an update
sorry it took so long. they look good and i really like them. they aren't 100% accurate but they are pretty good. they dont have the lace eyelet at at the top of the tongue but that's not a big deal. also the shoe part its self is not shaped correctly.

Hmm, sorry, but those are poor. The upper isn’t too bad, but what on earth is the ‘boot’? Those should be actual shoes.

Edit: okay I see they aren’t finished yet. Interested to see the finished article.

I agree the "boot" does not look so good. but from 10-25 feet who's gona notice? not many re-enactors wear these any way

I assume the boot isn’t completed and will have a sole and toe cap added?

I guess some won’t care or notice, but unless you paid peanuts for these I’d expect way better. I’d love to their attempt at an A6 boot.

yes it is just a progress update. I really hope they get the sole, and the heel done right. I think I paid around 175 to 185 for them shipped so i dont think i will be doing them again. someone else can risk an A-6 boot. i already did a favor.

i sent them an email and i hope they will fix some of the things. i dont think anything can be done about the lower "boot" part though

May I ask where these are being made ? You say 175 -185 shipped .
Surely not in the US ?

I applaud your enthusiasm and excitement for what your trying to put together with this project . As the youngest member of the forum, it’s great to see someone your age with a passion for collecting and learning about this hobby and WWII history , particularly aviation history . I certainly don’t want to diminish that enthusiasm in any way, so if it’s ok with you let me suggest that the money you invested in these boots, would have been better off saved and added to other money down the road for a purchase of an original pair of boots or some other original or accurate repro of kit used during the war . These will not hold up over time and they will probably fall apart with anything but occasional use . You have a lot more years of collecting ahead of you and what seems like an expensive item like an original pair of these boots now , will be worth 3 times what you paid for them in years to come . So it’s worth the investment to save and purchase them rather than what you doing here .
I sincerely hope you see my post as what it is meant to be , some thoughtful advise to a fellow collector .
Cheers
