I am a re-enactor. But if I ever get a P-51 and fly out of Bodney I think I'll be ready. Well almost.

I'm always scared to play with originals I have 2 pairs of pretty good leather flight bibs but sewing is hard because the only separation they have is at the heavy leather seams

I used a pair for my flight on aluminum overcast-that was a short interesting flight but that's a story for another day- I always enter feet first because I like to show off I'm young and I can do it. I rub it in a bit for the older re-enactors. Anyway my crotch I had sewn split open it was the thread not the leather though thank goodness.
