An A-2 wears well these days. But sadly I will miss the BoB Duxford Air Show this year.

Great looking A2!! We have a new members bio section . Tell us a little about yourself. We are an international group of guys and gals liking old jackets. Particularly military ones, so tell us about the one your wearing . Welcome to the forum!
Cheers

Thomas,

you must be the most badass manager Mercedes has ever hired...or do they all look like outlaw bikers at a certain management level?

My boss was already born in a 3-piece-suit and his version of "going rogue" is taking a second scoop of ice cream after business lunches...

;) Ties

Ties,

this is why i`m manager only ... - the bigheads (even bigger than mine) all have - additional to the tattoos - brandings and piercings all over their body

and if i wanna climb in the hierarchie I would need at least a "Prince Albert" ... :)

Thomas,

thank you so much for that information! And for the picture in my head....might not be able to get rid of it for the rest of the week....do they really make them fully chromed at AMG?!

Nevertheless, it explains why my personal carreer stopped at the rank of a simple "foot soldier"...no body mutilations and modifications for me.
Had some earrings put in with 20 but when I was a grown-up - with 21 - I took them off and never again thought about it...

Guys,

With another perfectly boring day of 28° C / 84° F here in Hamburg, it's another day without a jacket, too...

The early morning chill was covered by the Filson Mackinaw wool vest.
The rest is GAP (Shirt and Jeans) and Marc O'Polo (scarf).
Boots a re White's Semi-Dress.

Have a great day!

Uhh oh, Along time ago in a building far far away, the next episode of Lift wars due to be released soon:

The Return of the Jacket

Nice and smart casual Ties. As Autumn creeps in for you chaps, Spring fades to Summer down under. Enjoy the weather

Really? Pics!

Seriously?!

I bet no one wanted to get outside with Smithy... So who should have taken the picture?

And I am pretty sure they don't have elevators in the Norwegian wilderness...well, maybe they have...but they have no mirrors inside the elevators, hah!!
Because for centuries people taking pictures in mirror-equipped Norwegian elevators turned into trolls immediately...

Be careful!

no cold, no jacket but an elevator!

Unfortunately without a mirror so I took a selfie with a short arm - elevator in my company just goes from basement to 1st floor (or in the US from 1st floor to 2nd) - takes awful loooooong for that 1 store and usually only our cleaning girls use it (but never clean it as can be seen on the pics)
