Huge hitting power Lorenzo. The Tiffie was really the aircraft that from an airborne offensive view was the greatest threat to the German Panzer divisions on the Western Front in '44 and '45.

They were responsible for saving a huge amount of Allied troops' lives. Also a tremendously dangerous job with the advanced flak defences (both static and mobile) that the Germans were using in the last years of the war.

Continuing the Tiffie theme, here's a great snap of some armourers getting one ready.

Little know fact, the weight of firepower from a rocket and cannon armed Tiffie was equivalent to a broadside from a naval destroyer.
