When I wear my Irvin, I always makes sure, I have enough pockets. In my trousers! I love the original design of the Irvin as it is. And would never spoil it with pockets. Inside or outside. But each to his own. :)

Yes the were. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Good quality. All they need is "the saddle seam", to be correct.

Today it's minus 10 c. Clear blue sky. Great flying conditions. And a perfect day for the Irvin (Aces High/Pre War) And the 1936 Pattern boots cam in handy too.

We all know the USAAF parachute bags - but did RAF have similar bags for their aircrews during WWII? And if so - has anybody got any pics? What did they look like? Or even better - where do I get hold of one? (Orginal or repro doesn't matter) Thanks gents.

Re: Care: Eastman War Horse--Got soaking wet, now stiff and I would give it a solid layer of Pecards, rub it in and leave it for a night. Wipe off what's left the next day.
