I found a source for modern era replacement zips for various jackets like CWU-36. I have a 2000 Propper Industries and this zip is pretty much a direct replacement zipper. Also if you have a later era M-65 this company also has a Vislon plastic zip pretty much as issued for US military. Company is called Wawak based in New York so I believe the company sources US made YKK from Georgia USA. Really good company to deal with. Cheap and fast. Highly recommended.
