Certainly looks like an excellent fit and it's a beautiful jacket- i'll bet you are happy with that. I love the way old knits don't grip like handcuffs or a tight belt and allow the waist to drop comfortably down without bunching up as most repros.

Looks to be in fantastic condition- especially the liner.

I echo 'all of the above,' as it's a beautiful jacket and the grain is just popping all over it in true 60+ year fashion!! Looks nice and strong too and surely will be a head turner at airshows or just a walk about town! Congratulations!!
