The seller reckons it's a size 38 to 40. In my experience 21" armpit to armpit on an Irvin is about a 36 or size 3 in Irvinspeak.

You are spot on here Peter. It's a size 3, or maybe a 4 if the seller's pit to pit measurements are a little conservative.

I have never seen anything larger than a 4 in an FAA Irvin, must've all been little fellas.

Bigger ones were made but they are rare:
