Would this A-2 been a good buy?

I was watching this jacket but had some important work today and missed it ..

would this have been a good buy? It says private purchase nad maybe post war, but it does look good ... what do you guys think? Can anyone identify the maker?

Probably not. This is a post war A-2. I owned one of their G-1s while I had a good one several people who got them felt the leather was poor. So may have been a hit or miss affair. I think you are better off without it.
