WEP jacket

I just bought this jacket and fixed it up (holes in knits and collar) and I gave it a much needed bath. The result is pretty clean (no pun intended). Is it possible to date this jacket from the cuffs and the zipper? Unfortunately it is missing it's tag. THe shell is beautiful.
It fits me perfectly well but those WEP jackets are really short in body (they were actually intended to be part of a flight suit)

The seventies contracts had the Scovill "Gripper Zipper". I think by the lining color and the Conmar Zipper your jacket would be from the sixties.
