W & G Repro On Ebay

I just joined after lurking for awhile.
Anyway, I just saw this W & G on ebay. Advertised as an "A-2." But I think it's something else.
Anyone got an ID?

Looks a bit like an ANJ-3 -- with some variation.

Welcome to the forum Dave. The W&G repro is an A2/G1 cross-breed jacket. It is not course is an accurate repro of either an A2 or a G1 with its paper clip zipper, bi-swing back, non mouton collar etc...... It's a W&G special! :lol:

Whatever it is, I kinda like it because of the biswing back, I wish the collar was more pointy at the tips instead of being rounded off.

Not sure if it's the pics or the jacket but the collar and pockets look a little odd to me.

Looks like a designer was playing around with some ideas and came up with a comfy civilian jacket. It will fulfill someone's expectations, no doubt..
