USAAF arctic boots?

Anyone know exactly what these are? A-7 boots, '42 contract. The seller thinks they're flying boot liners, but they look more like boots themselves to me.

The seller is correct, the A-7 is a shearling slipper liner, optional with the A-6 flying shoe (boot). It's not arctic wear, it was usually worn with the B-3, and A-3 trousers combination.
