Unofficial Patch ?

According to the seller, this patch was for the 75th Fighter Squadron, even though the patch shows an angry twin tailed bomber dropping bombs. On the bombers tail it looks like the markings for the 90th Bomb Group, "Jolly Rogers".

Does anyone know which group or squadron this patch was for ? Or was it an unofficial patch or if it's something someone made up ?

I believe the seller is confused. It is the patch for the 320th bomb squadron. The 75th fighter squadron did use a similar "tiger shark" as their insignia. Tex Hill, one of the original AVG flying tigers, transitioned into the 75th fighter squadron when the AVG was disbanded. Tex had the nickname "shark one".

Your patch is most definately the 320th Bomb Sqd of the 90th Bomb Group,I made several leather unit patches for a veteran of this group some years ago and this patch was the exact same design that they wore for the 320th.
The 75th Fighter Squadron is a a shark with wings that have machine gun barrels from thier edge on a round background, they were with the 23rd Fighter Group.
