The Color "Sage" - A Shade of Olive Drab (O.D.)?

I've seen repro leather jackets said to be in the color, "sage" or "sage green." Can this color be considered a shade of O.D (olive drab)? Are there shades of O.D. ?

There are shades of OD, but sage isn't one of them ... it's a whole different colour.

For comparison, L-2's, and B-15B's are olive, L-2B's, and MA-1's are sage.

It's a bit like asking if lemon is a shade of lime isn't it? Here's what Wikinonsense says:

Olive drab is the color olive shaded toward a greener color.
Sage green - A greyish green colour, like that of sage.
