Superb Good Wear Dubow 27798 A-2 (Horsehide, Size 46)

I've just picked up this Good Wear Dubow 27798 A-2 from 2010.

I'll post more recent photos later, but this one is superb - the fit is absolutely 100%, including the sleeves, right out of the box.

The grain pattern is mismatched (http://www.goodwearleather.com/photos/D ... _seams.jpg) and pretty much a dead ringer for this original on Acme Depot (http://www.acmedepot.com/a2jacket/a2ima ... _grain.jpg).

I love this pattern - I hadn't realised that it would be so comfortable (there's no collar stand, the shoulders are wide, the sleeve tops/armholes are generous, the torso is relatively long and quite wide).

I could seriously see a Good Wear Dubow 27798 in goatskin (dark seal or dark russet, Crown zip, dull purple knits) on the horizon.

Looks fantastic! My 27798 in a dark russet ultra vintage should be here next week. It will have the purple knits and crown zip, will post photos when it arrives.
