Stargate SG-1 jacket

What kind of jacket does the Stargate SG-1 wear? They look exactly like my Navy flight suit jacket from the 50s.

I thought it was a Navy/Marine Corp WEP, the liner for survival suits.

Yup thta's exactly what I have. Do they still make those jackets? It's weird, aren't they supposed to be Air Force?

I know Flightsuits makes a repro with the accurate deep-cut knits (v-shape). Don't think they are still issued.

Don't know about AF issued. Here's another on the ebay with a Marine HMM-961 patch.

The jackets were production made and modeled on the WEP. The major difference is they were OD ripstop. There were 2 different weight liners for different temps during shooting.

THose jackets are nice I would not pay $2800 for one though

.........And they were specially made in ripstop because the nomex or nylon versions refected too much light.

These jackets were unique to the Navy and Marine Corps. As far as I know they were not used by the Air Force.
