A: Shipping will be whatever the cost of the insurance is, in order to cover accurately full insurance costs, which regular post does not cover. Until there is a final price I cant predict actual shipping cost

The seller is from Canada, and uses express courier with additional insurance.

That's how I read it. That was quite a jump in price in 2 days! From .99 to $2,000+.

I never understand why someone with plenty of experience on Ebay (plus200) insists on bidding multiple times early and this is big money too. The only reasons I can see is they are dumb, or want others to see there's a reckless high bidder and is therefore unpredictable, or they're a Mate of the Seller and want to push up the value.

Sniping is the only way...
