Sounds like your restoration project is coming along nicely. Now all you need is to find some nice mouton fur that is of the right length and a matching colour... and you'll be set. Keep us in the loop on how it all goes, we love to see a jacket in the process of being restored to its former glory.

off course its all a part of the project keeping everyone in the loop ive manage to find what sounds like a really good tailor that specialises in leather repairs on vintage jackets motor bike jackets ect called byson repairs and will refit the cuffs and waist band for £40 what i thought this is a good price and would take about three weeks to complete, he did offer the cuffs and waistband but the waistband wasn't the right one and the one ive got was right plus ive got some mil-spec g1 buttons in the right colour from ebay, the guy i brought the from was very helpful and matched the colour to the jacket which was a added bouns im not sure on fur or where i could get one from so if anyone has any good sources that would be helpful .
