Here's a refurbished (by Aero) original Cable Raincoat A-2. The leather still looks pretty good...

the tag says an NOS zipper?

which generation of original talon did not have TALON stamped on the face of the slider-last generation?

On the back of the slider it should have stamped, "made in USA".
Also, the repro Talon pullers have a different sahpe to the top part of the puller. Here are a couple of photos to illustrate.
