Is this a good price for a pre-war Irvin? The zips look like nice early DOT ones, unless I'm mistaken.

It's a 1939 contract Irvin by Links. The contract is B24384 / 39 / C.I .B. The jacket has lost much of the original polyacrilic coating. There is significant wear to the cuffs and hem and a large sewn repair on the left upper sleeve. The price is fair, but as the seller says it will need some restoration work.
