The jacket seems to be a private purchase type, but curious about this patch:

Is it military? a civilian contractor? would seem to be engine/maintenance related.

and looks like a decal on a standard round leather patch

Wonder if it might be a manufacturer's representative device.

Pratt & Whitney, Wright, etc

The graphic looks like an early radial, actually.

Depends, they both could be the same thing from different periods?

It's like a Wright R-1820, or even an earlier one, actually, the R-1750. P&W made very similar "wasp" engines as well.

Your patch is the WW-2 version of AAF Air Material Command and was an "Official" emblem , Marcel got the ID correect !
