Saw this today, too, by coincidence.

Is it common to see the post-1947 USAF wings on a khaki B-15B?

I’m a little fuzzy on the chronology, but I was thinking they’d moved on to blue by then.

I've seen those worn well into the 50s, by some folks. I knew a 91st BG co-pilot who later flew F-47s with the MD Air National Guard and I'd found a photo from the early 50s of him standing next to the Jug he ditched into a harbor, and he's wearing a B-15 series, probably a normal B-15 from WW2...
