I don't have a record of M-41 contract numbers, but comparing it to similar contracts ... yes, it's early 1940's.

I'm guessing it's this jacket ...

I found from another source that the contract number is October 1944
This one belonged to a pilot who was in the Pacific. The seller has other items from the pilot, including his uniform. Hopefully I will manage to get the rest of the stuff.
