Wow, thats a really unique looking jacket, I've never seen one with sheepskin that looked like that before. Shame about the small size though.

Years ago I bought a single seam Irvin from Ken that had very similar fading. Believe it or not, after applying a very thin coat of Pecards it was restored back to a beautiful chestnut brown color. I doubt it was washed - probably just fading from age and wear.

I own an identical late War Irvin to this, but a size 5. This is most likely a size 3 or 4 and the rounded collar ends points to the work of Links. The finish has just worn off and will be transformed with a couple of coats of Pecards. It's a very nice 99% original jacket, with little wear to the cuffs.
