New G-1 zipper

What is an accepted treatment, if any, to apply to a new G-1 jacket zipper to make it easier to zip (unknown zipper manufacturer). The G-1 is from a US manufacturer.

100% Bees Wax

I picked up a pound (smallest amount they carried) of 100 percent bees wax today at the local craft store. I'll give half to my brother. It's pretty hard stuff, not like the soft bees comb wax included in some jars of honey. But it will not attract ants either! In Jacksonville, Florida we have one type of ant that can really puts a bite on you and I certainly don't want any of those inside my jacket.
