New acquired MA-1 8279A

Just acquired this 8279A MA-1 today, so here are the pictures if you'd all like to check them out. Just some minor moths nips in the knits and a slight smudge on the left arm, otherwise this jacket is in excellent shape. Training command patch, embroidered command pilot wings and major rank. U.S. Air Force transfer is slightly faded. Zips work perfectly as do the snaps. Notice the webbing next to the zipper for securing your oxygen hose and the snaps by each armpit. All in all a great example of an early MA-1.

Nice jacket! The A models can be more rare than the first 8279s. The ATC patch doesn't look from the same period, but still a great find. Thanks for posting. ;)

Yes, great jacket, Stony ... good find.

Don't sell him.

I'm actually in a selling mode these days, so it will probably go up on the "Buy/Sell" page soon.
