Need help to identify vintage pair of engineer boot

Found these old boots recently and based on the leather and the way they look, I am assuming they are from the 40s or 50s.
There is a tag inside but it’s almost unreadable.
Wanted to see if one you could identify them

On the sole, you can read Biltrite but I don’t know if it is the brand of the boots or the brand of the sole
